Congratulations Girls Swim and Dive Team!

The girls swim and dive teams wrapped up their section meets in fine fashion this weekend.  We had multiple athletes qualify for this weeks state swim and dive meet.  Mpls. Congratulations to all the fall athletes on such successful seasons!  Overall the Washburn Millers’ earned four Conference Championships, one Twin City Championship, Three Section Runner Ups, one 3rd Place State Finish and one 2nd Place State Finish! Congratulations Boys Cross Country!

Boys Cross Country Team Claims 2nd in State! Congratulations to the Washburn boys cross country team that captured 2nd place in the state meet at St. Olaf College in Northfield on Nov. 7. This is the first time in nearly half a century Washburn has qualified a cross country team for the state meet.

Volleyball – Section Championship Bound

Volleyball won their section semifinal game vs. Benilde-St. Margaret on Wednesday!  The still undefeated Millers will take on Hopkins for the section championship on Saturday at noon at St. Louis Park High School. Good luck Millers!    PHOTO: f/go (www.f-go.us)
